Chiba Zoo

I don't have too much to say about the Chiba zoo. It's not a huge zoo, but there was a good variety of animals. I always feel sorry for the animals in captivity though, so I couldn't completely enjoy myself there.

The cages for the animals were kind of small...
This fella was big, but he was just chillin' and eating a banana (?) while visitors gave him a photoshoot.

Huge land tortoises lived in the same place as the colorful parrots.

 The aquarium wasn't very big, but I was able to go up to see the seals from above, or downstairs to see them from this view. Managed to catch this dude during feeding time.

The area with the nocturnal animals was pretty interesting. I got to see some fruit bats up close and realized that bats look like little pigs with wings. This furry creature was really cute, but the main reason I took a picture of it was because its name is Cotton-top Pinche (for those who speak Spanish, you'll understand).
